To teach, govern, and sanctify Mary, our guide • Bishop Frank J. Caggiano is a Brooklyn, New York, native who was born on Easter Sunday in 1959. After graduating from Regis High School in Manhattan, he graduated from Cathedral College of the Immaculate Conception. He began his major seminary studies at the Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington, New York, and was ordained to the priesthood on May 16, 1987. On June 6, 2006, he was appointed as an auxiliary bishop of Brooklyn by Pope Benedict XVI. On July 31, 2013, Pope Francis appointed Bishop Caggiano as bishop of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was installed on September 19, 2013, at St. Theresa Parish in Trumbull, Connecticut.
